At The Local Eatery, around 95% of the menu items can be adjusted to gluten free requirements, making it the ideal dining destination for gluten free eating in the heart of Sydney. Most of the daily specials are also gluten free.
Gluten free pizza bases are bought in and cooked on a separate tray. Fresh gloves are used when preparing pizzas, and cutting boards are completely wiped down to avoid contamination. Gluten free pasta dishes are also available. Pasta is cooked in a separate pot and rinsed separately.
There's a great range of other gluten free meals, extending to several desserts. The restaurant is fully licensed, with BYO bottled wine permitted. Amidst a cosy setting, it's family friendly in a welcoming environment, with friendly staff.
