Nearly everything on the menu at The Great Escape Cafe and Take Away can be made gluten free! The owner has coeliac disease and understands how to prepare food correctly to avoid gluten contamination. The cafe is open for lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and dinner.

Please let staff know about your gluten free requirements when ordering. There's a dedicated gluten free fryer and only gluten free crumbs and batter are used. Menu examples include burgers (with a gluten free bun), chips, schnitzel, baked potatoes, yiros, egg and bacon rolls, brekky rolls, salads... plus load more, including daily specials! You'll also find a full variety of delicious cakes to enjoy with coffee and tea. There's a range of different milks, and even the milkshakes are gluten free.

The cafe's atmosphere is relaxed, casual and child friendly. It's cosy with a bright and cheerful decor. The space is light and airy, and there's a pet friendly area.
