O’Brien Beer is a world leader in the development and production of award-winning gluten free beer. The range has recently expanded to include seasonal release beers, which includes the AIBA Gold Medal winning Belgian Ale, dark and moody Black Lager and the latest spring release India Pale Ale.
• O’Brien Pale Ale was the first gluten free beer produced in Australia, released in August 2005. It was awarded a bronze medal at the prestigious Australian International Beer Awards 2010 and 2012.
• O’Brien Premium Lager was voted a winner at the first international gluten free beer awards in the UK in 2006. This was followed by a bronze medal at the AIBAs 2009, a silver medal in 2011 and a bronze in 2013.
• O’Brien Brown Ale was awarded a bronze medal at the AIBAs 2008, 2011 and 2013. It also received a silver award (category 14) at the World Beer Cup ® 2010 in the USA, the largest beer awards in the world.
• O’Brien Natural Light is the world’s first naturally brewed gluten free low alcohol beer at just 2.7% Alc/Vol. It was awarded a bronze medal at the prestigious Australian International Beer Awards 2011.
O’Brien Beer, is celebrating another industry first in Australia by producing their award-winning 100% gluten free beer in aluminium cans. Many people may not realise it, but more than 60 per cent of aluminium cans are recycled here in Australia compared to only 40 per cent of bottles. So it makes good environmental sense to purchase beer in cans instead of bottles and O’Brien Beer is proud to be able to offer this to their customers.
