The owner of Canning River Cafe has a gluten and dairy free diet, so there's plenty of gluten free dishes available! A key philosophy is that there's nourishing food everyone. The daily practice is to include gluten free breakfasts, lunch and catering needs, including events at the cafe.
A large proportion of the menu is gluten free. Cooked breakfasts include toast (using gluten free and dairy free bread), baked beans, chorizo, bacon, etc. The lunch menu consists of a full range of items, and even includes battered fish and chips cooked in a dedicated fryer. For the sweet tooths, cakes are predominantly made on the premises, and include a gluten free range.
Situated in the Canning River Regional Park, and surrounded by the river, lovely walks, and a kid's playground, the cafe is located in an idyllic natural landscape setting. BYO alcohol is permitted.
