Thistle Be Good make a unique range of delicious dukkah and risotto blends. The selected Thistle Be Good products listed below are gluten free, and are handmade in small batches. Great care taken is with production, and both Australian and organic ingredients are used as much as possible.
DUKKAH
Dukkah is an Egyptian almond and spice mixture that can be enjoyed as a nibble with olive oil and chunks of crusty gluten freebread. It also has many other uses, such as a tasty and healthy alternative to crumbing. Thistle Be Good makes three different dukkah blends:
- Egyptian – based on the traditional recipe, with almonds, sesame seeds and middle-eastern spices, all roasted to perfection.
- Chilli Thrill – similar spices to the Egyptian but with paprika, chilli and a secret ingredient!
- Bush Tucker - contains almonds, sesame seeds and four locally grown native spices of blood lime, lemon myrtle, wattle seed and mountain pepperleaf.
RISOTTO
Thistle Be Good's complete risotto mixes contain real parmesan cheese and are delicious and so easy as a main meal.There are 3 varieties: Wild Mushroom & Tarragon, Rustic Vegetable with Rosemary or Green Pea, Lemon & Mint.
