Attached to a Caltex Star Mart, and with a roadhouse appearance from the outside, that's where the similarities end! Wahring's Restaurant is an ideal gluten free dining destination, or stop-off point between Melbourne and Shepparton, located near Nagambie.

Gluten free is well catered for at Wahring's Restaurant. There's a separate gluten free menu, from breakfast right through to lunch and main evening meals. Gourmet cooked breakfasts offer gluten free traditional or fruit toast. The restaurant also makes their own gluten free beef pies and sausage rolls, as well as several pizza varieties, fish dishes, chicken dishes, soups, spaghetti bolognaise, and lasagne. There's a selection of pasta sauces served with gluten free fettuccine. A range of steaks are available, along with gluten free mushroom sauce, green pepper sauce, or gravy. A Specials Board is displayed, and this can also include gluten free dishes.

For the sweet tooths, there are Chocolate and Pecan Brownies, plus several desserts may be available.

The restaurant has a gift shop attached. Outside there's a playground, with an outdoor seating area located nearby for dining. The dining style can be a leisurely affair with family and friends or, if passing through, phone through your order to enable 'pick up and go' arrangements.
