With its outdoor umbrellas, and glass front that is open during warmer weather, it offers an appealing setting and is a busy lunch spot. The cafe also opens up onto a courtyard where there is an enclosed playground. With 'GF' marked on the main menu, and the hallmark of traditional home-style cooking, The Vinery Cafe provides very well for gluten free customers. Most food is prepared on the premises, and their popular 'all day' breakfast menu includes gluten free sausages and toast. Lunchtime is well catered for with vegetable frittata, warm chicken salad, spinach and feta omelet, sandwiches, rolls, soups, and fruit bread. Roast days feature on Tuesdays and Thursdays (complete with gluten free gravy). Looking to enjoy some cake with coffee? The Vinery Cafe stocks a good range of gluten free cakes. Choose from Almond Torte, Brownie slices (Raspberry Almond, Vanilla Pecan or Mango, Macadamia and Lemongrass), or the muffin range. The Vinery Cafe serves 'Brasilia' coffee (Royal Espresso blend), and has a great tea range - bag or leaf, regular or herbal. The Vinery Cafe is fully licensed, and their focus is local and regional South Australian wines. Each Wednesday is Seniors Day, and the cafe offers a 10% discount to eligible customers.
