Everything that is gluten free is made on site. The cafe has an all day breakfast and lunch menu. Gluten free carrot and corn bread is prepared in-house. For breakfast, The Moray Cafe make their own toasted gluten free muesli. The Omelette of the Day is always gluten free, and there are other cooked breakfasts available (with gluten free toast). A healthy selection of delicious lunches is available, including gluten free salads, steak sandwiches and burgers (made with gluten free bread), etc. The Fish of the Day is always gluten free. Looking for something sweet for morning or afternoon tea? There are home-made gluten free cookies on offer (Chocolate and Macadamia), and generally at least one gluten free cake, brownies or dessert. The cafe serves Valentina coffee (imported from Columbia) plus a selection of looseleaf teas. Gluten free options are available for dinner. Group bookings are welcome, and there is both indoor and al fresco seating. The outdoor area provides shady dining under the Moreton Bay Fig tree, with a very pleasant river breeze compliments of the nearby Brisbane River. The cafe has a homely, nostalgic atmosphere.
