Conveniently located near the Three Sisters in charming Katoomba, Swiss Cottage opened its doors in 1991. The Cottage was built in 1898 and has been restored. Both the house and garden are beautiful, creating a great setting for special dining amongst the country modern decor.

Both the owner and owner's daughter have coeliac disease, so there are plenty of delicious home style gluten free choices at this family run restaurant! Gluten free dishes are marked on the menu, and others can be adapted. The choice extends into desserts and the chef is a pastry chef as well. 'Death by Chocolate' is a particular favourite!

Swiss Cottage is licensed and BYO. If bringing a pram, please phone ahead to ensure that space is made (no high chairs are available).

For a special gluten free weekend away why not consider staying at Swiss Cottage's self contained accommodation? The Cuckoo's Nest Cottage is located in a private setting amidst the restaurant's grounds and sleeps two. Room service can be arranged.

For larger groups, stay at Cuckoo's Nest (in the bush), sleeping up to 7 people. Cuckoo's Nest is located just 5 minutes from Swiss Cottage, in a bush setting that even include goats and chickens!

Continental breakfasts are provided at both accommodation venues, including gluten free where requested in advance.
