Hooked - Healthy Seafood To Go offers a great selection of gluten free fish and chips. In fact, just about anything on the menu can be made gluten free except for burgers. As well, The Age newspaper recently voted Hooked as Melbourne's healthiest fish & chips, and also Melbourne's best chips!

All seafood that is grilled is gluten free. As well, there is gluten free batter so battered fish, king prawns and scallops are available, and even salt and pepper battered calamari is on the gluten free menu! There is a dedicated gluten free fryer to ensure that no contamination occurs, and the chips are also gluten free.

A Specials Board changes every day to ensure that really fresh fish varieties are a feature of Hooked. Common examples include Barramundi, Tasmanian Salmon, King Fish, Yellow Fin Tuna, King George Whiting, and Snapper.

Food can be eaten in or taken away. The communal table at Hooked won The Age Cheap Eats 2009 Award for Best Communal Table, and other private dining tables are available. Please note that tables are not reserved. There is also an outdoor courtyard that seats 30 diners, and is ideal for the warmer months.

Hooked - Healthy Seafood To Go is fully licensed. It's a vibrant place for fish and chips, and more upmarket compared with traditional fish and chip shops. The decorating theme is quirky, nautical and interesting.
