The cafe section provides light lunches and dinner. Gluten free selections includes soups, salads and selected savoury dishes. The menu changes monthly, and there is often a gluten free cake or dessert to savour and enjoy. Home Bistro features an open plan kitchen so diners can watch all the activity. There is a warm interior, providing a casual, relaxed experience. The quiet patio area is ideal for alfresco dining - complete with blankets for chilly evenings!

The gluten free emphasis at Home Bistro is definitely the range of quality take-home evening meals, and the majority of them are gluten free. All meals are available from 12 midday – 9pm. Some foods, such as the fish, is cooked to order. A number of meals at a time can be conveniently ready for you by simply phoning ahead. Otherwise, come in and make a selection in person. Home Bistro meals are ideal single people, elderly people, busy families, dinner parties, convalescent periods, group catering, holidays, etc.

The Home Bistro menu changes monthly to alleviate boredom. A slow cooking homestyle approach is favoured, producing delightfully wholesome comfort food. The meals have a seasonal influence, but always include a few family favourites such as Moroccan Lamb and the recently introduced Veal Schnitzel. There are individual and family (3 adults or 2 adults/2 children) portion sizes. The meals come with mashed potato, polenta, potato cakes, or a carbohydrate equivalent serving. Salads and vegetables are available for purchase as side orders.
