Fundies Whole Foods Cafe and Fundamental Food Store are conveniently located together on one site in central Byron Bay. The cafe is predominantly vegetarian, with numerous gluten free choices. Breakfast options include cereal or fruit toast. Lunch choices are impressive, and range from gluten free pies, numerous healthy salads, frittata, lasagne, Hunza rice bake, pasta, Shepherd's pie, risotto cakes, nori rolls to gluten free sandwiches (made to order).

The impressive range of locally produced gluten free cakes and slices can be enjoyed with organic coffee (served with organic milk). Or choose from a myriad of fine teas, including herbal varieties. Individually packaged biscuits are also sold.

The Fundamental Food Store section stocks a great selection of gluten free food. They carry the full range of Orgran products, comprising pastas, biscuits, cake mixes, bread mixes and snack bars. Additionally, they have their own brand of gluten free flour, as well as rice, buckwheat, besan, potato and brown rice flours. Quinoa is available as flour, grain or rolled. Gluten free cereals and pre-packaged cookies are also stocked, as well as a great selection of gluten free breads.
