Feel like a relaxing country escape? Located in the Kurrajong/Hawkesbury area, Dreamwood Estate is a working farm that breeds alpacas, border collies and golden retrievers. It's an easy drive from Sydney, and only minutes from Kurrajong Village. As an added bonus, guests are welcome to bring pets.
The friendly staff at Dreamwood Estate understand gluten free requirements and can cater accordingly - just mention your requirements on the booking form.
There are two self contained Bed and Breakfast suites in a peaceful, pet-friendly farm setting, suitable for couples, families and animal-lovers alike.
The first unit sleeps 4 (double bed and bunks), and continental breakfast provisions are provided (including gluten free where requested). There is a kettle, toaster and fridge, as well as an ensuite and walk-through dressing room.
The other unit is an apartment styled suite, containing two bedrooms (one with queen size bed, the other with double bed and single sofa bed), plus living/kitchenette area. Facilities include a full oven, hotplates, stainless steel appliances, lounge and desk alcove, table and chairs. The ensuite includes laundry facilities (washer/dryer). Continental breakfast provisions are included, while cooked breakfast provisions are an additional option here (gluten free available) - cooked by guests in their own time.
BBQ provisions are also available for both units, and orders are required in advance (gluten free available).
Both units have an LCD TV, DVD player, outdoor setting, private BBQ, microwave, and are fully air conditioned. Wireless and cable internet connection is also available.
Stroll along the extensive laneways on Dreamwood Estate's 5 acre farm during the nightly Alpaca Welfare Walk. Bring a camera and sip your favourite drink while being mesmerised by the gentle humming of these fascinating animals.
