The owner of Cracked Pepper Restaurant has coeliac disease, so the news for those on a gluten free diet is all good at this venue! With around 95% of the menu being able to be made gluten free, you'll have difficulty deciding what to order. Local produce is sourced where possible, and an emphasis on 'food from the ground' and a commitment to sustainability is apparent. The menu is changed seasonally, and choices include an extensive range of starters, mains and desserts. The cuisine is Modern Australian, with Asian and Middle Eastern influences.

As an added bonus, the team at Cracked Pepper Restaurant make stunning gluten free bread (white with quinoa, and white with seeds), dinner rolls and burger buns, using organic flour (lactose and egg free also). Due to their popularity, these products are also available for separate purchase.

The decor is decidedly elegant, yet comfortable, with a light and airy feel. Seating is for 80 guests, and the dining space is flexible, so group bookings are easily accommodated. At night the lighting is subdued, with candles, linen tablecloths, coloured table runners, and comfortable sofas for cocktails or coffee creating a memorable setting.
