It's a book store containing a delightful cafe. The recently renovated Booktique Cafe specialises in serving delicious morning and afternoon teas, as well as selling chocolates. Half of the cakes served are gluten free, including Persian Love Cake, Apricot Torte (the cafe's signature dish and a popular summer favourite) and Flourless Chocolate Cake. There are also gluten free cookies - Lemon Myrtle Macaroon, Orange Poppyseed Macaroon, and Florentines. Enjoy these with coffee and tea! The book section of Booktique stocks an extensive selection of recipe books, including a great range of gluten free recipe books. 'Cooking With Quinoa' is a popular seller. Booktique is a very vibrant shop, with ambient smooth jazz playing in the background. It appeals to diverse age groups and book interests.
