History
Having commenced in 2008, we are passionate about building a ‘one-stop gluten free search site’ that will be a valuable and helpful resource for those of us following a gluten free diet.

The website was created to minimise the guesswork, embarrassment and underlying uncertainty of approaching eateries about gluten free needs. While many places offer a couple of gluten free alternatives these days, we aim to provide information about eateries that offer extensive choices and understand the gluten free diet well. These are places where you can feel comfortable, being confident that the people who are cooking and serving know what they are doing.

It’s also handy to know what products are available on the market and where to buy them. Or to locate the perfect destination for those special occasions where a weekend away, or longer, can be booked knowing that ‘gluten free’ is understood and embraced, leaving you to relax and enjoy the experience.

In response to demand, we included other search categories to make our website more encompassing. So now you can also search for online shops, services and publications!

Last year, the size of the site continually expanded, increasing your gluten free choices by providing detailed information about even more gluten free businesses. We also exhbited at the Irresistible Gluten Free Food Shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

In 2010 we aim to include the Northern Territory, as well building on the other states. So please be patient with us and check back often!
